Another Rainy Day in Georgia

Posted by bryceevans on July 6, 2013 at 1:50 PM Comments comments (0)

Hello everyone and yes it is raining again in Georgia.  I have been writing some with the weather being bad outside, but I can't concentrate on anything right now.  Kids running around like there heads have been cut off.  Closed up in doors is not helping either.  Got a crick in my kneck and every thing is pissing me off.  So how is your day going.  I have got some ideas on how to promote my book more.  If you have any please feel free to suggest them.  I so love talking to everyone.

I'm still working on the 2nd book in the Perfect Reflection Series.  I have another book I'm working on that I will share with you soon.  You must tell me what you think about it.  It is a Romance book.  Ill give you a tease later.

I hope you have a great day so if you are like me and it is raining outside just pick up a book and close the world off and fall into the make believe world.

Later guys,

Bryce Evans

Great day for reading

Well today is June 2, 2013 and its a great day to read a book.  Especially since it is raining.  Two of my friends books are coming out today and hope you will give them a try.  I started reading Jana Leighs books and feel in love with reading and writing.  She gave me my start and I love to read her books.  Marquyalla Lorette is another friend of mine and her new book is coming out today too.  Check out their release events today on facebook too.

Jana Leigh  "Raising a Cowgirl"

Marquaylla Lorette  "The Eye's Tell No Lies"

You can find them on most sites you purchase books from.  Great reads and yes I have purchased my own books.  I don't just advertise for people I don't believe in.  I truely read these two authors and think that you will love them too.

Again guys I'm writing today so I should be able to give you a tease soon with the new book.  Have a great day and don't forget to check these hot authors out.

Greetings Sunday Readers

Well its a lazy Sunday after church.  Little man is sick today with a fever and not feeling well.  He wants his mommy and if you are a mother you know how priceless those moments are.  Today I  plan on reading instead of writing but you know how that changes when that inspiration hits you.  The book is doing good but it could do better.  If you would share my book please on your facebook page I would appreciate that. It helps and so do the reviews after you read the book.  That is one of the first things I do is read a review of the book so please make sure you do that.  I would love to hear from you guys.  Today my ranking on is 13,308. I want it lower then that, but it is still good for a new author.  Please if you have any questions, just drop me a line about the rankings.  They change every hour so it could go up which isn't good and it could go down which is what we want.  It's hard getting your book read since their are so many new books coming out every day.  So I keep trucking away.  Please if you have any idea just let me know.  As always I write for you.  Take care my friends.

Like so many authors out there, I look at rankings where my books are sold.  Today my ranking is 9,232 and #61 in the Witches and Wizard section.  I'm pretty happy about that.  Of course we want to see our rankings on amazon go down to #1 in all the sections it applies to.  However as a new author I know it takes time and a lot of hard work.  You can't expect your publishing company to do all the work.  It is a new age and technology is so part of that.  So if you have any suggestions on where a new author can post and show off her book let me know.  I would appreciate it.  I hope you like the look of my website.  I had a great friend help me out with me.  Im off writing now so catch you later and HAPPY READING.

Well since I would be considered a newbie to the world of writing, I can say that I have learned a lot and continue to learn from some great author friends on what to do and not to do.  Love the grammer!

But again I'm still learning on how to promote your books, to blogging, to launch parties and by the way guys we had a great time at ours on facebook.  However, I'm now learning that their is so much more you can do and sites you can promote your book, etc, etc.  WOW!

YOU  need a lot of people to help you do this and be a success at it.  Still it takes a lot of work and energy to do all of that.  I'm a wife, mother, yes I have a career I don't talk about, and an author.  I love my career and I love being an author.  I have met a lot of fine people who have helped me get started and continue to help me.  I have been watching the authors who are a success and have done a lot to promote their career and have profited from it.  I know its not all about the money but it is to a degree.  So the money helps. LOL and that is all I will say about that.  But I have questions for those of you out there who are reading.  How do you promote your books and do it on a Budget?  Good question and some may choose not to answer because they don't want to give up their secrets and that is fine too.  But if you dare to help the struggling out here then what techniques or advice can you give.  I have others who would be interested as well.

I have to say thank you to all of you have helped me in my career and continue to help.  Please know that I thank God for you.  Take care and until tomorrow.

Later Peeps!

Well it is out today Peeps.  I couldn't be happier at the Event party on facebook.  I had a lot of great people show up and give a lot of great conversation.  We talked about everything in that room.  A lot of great swags were given away and these are some of the winners:  Meghan Kinch, Laura Adams, Jerri Morring, Kim Thorne, and Samantha Atkin.  Congrats to the winners and we are not done yet.  Love giving away stuff so if you are just now reading this, come on in because it will last until 8:00 P.M.

Just a little taste of the new book:  Happy Reading guys!

Damen McDonald knocked on his Alpha’s door. “Enter!” Damen walked into Mace’s office frowning. “I know why I’m in a bad mood, but why are you?” Damon said as Mace turned back around to face him. Damen was the Beta, but he was also Mace and Adrianna’s cousin. Damen was like a brother to him and he trusted him with his life. “No reason. Just woke up like that.” Damen stared at Mace. “What?” Damen snorted. “What’s wrong?” Mace shrugged his shoulders. Damen arched an eyebrow at his Alpha’s childish shrug. “Can you explain to me what’s going on with you? You are moping around as if you have been dumped. That can’t be the reason since you haven’t been seeing anyone lately. Maybe you need to get laid.” Mace sighed and moved back to his desk, and picked up the piece of paper in front of him. “Nobody interests me.” “Never stopped you before, Mace. Never stopped any of us. We are just having fun and the girls understand that,” Damen responded. Mace looked up and sighed loudly at his cousin. “What do you want, Damen?” Damen didn’t like how his Alpha was looking. He acted uninterested and agitated, which wasn’t Mace. Damen looked down at the files he held in his hand. “Well, we have five more applications to join the pack.” “Damn, where are these people coming from?” Mace responded. “Well most of them want to be near The Trinity. Some are stagnant in other packs. They don’t like either the Alpha or how the pack is being run. Then you have the Rogues who are tired of being on their own. You name it they’re coming here. Plus they heard what a good-looking Second you have,” Damen said as he arched his eyebrows up and down. Mace leaned back in his seat shaking his head laughing at Damen. “Yes, buddy, I’m sure that’s it. Okay, I know you have looked over the applications and completed background checks on everyone. Now tell me what do you think about them?” said Mace. “Well, everyone checks out except two and that’s what I want to talk to you about.” Mace squinted his eyes at Damen then rubbed his forehead. Damen knew this was a stress reliever for Mace. He only did it when he was stressed out. “First, Peter and Mary Redden are friends of Samson’s. Mary is a witch and Peter is a wolf. Mary’s daughter is Lexy Redden and she is also a witch. Peter is Lexy’s stepfather. Lexy’s real father was a human and when she was born, he left them high and dry. Although Peter is her stepfather, he considers Lexy as his own daughter,” said Damon. Mace shrugs, “So what’s the problem? We have other people in the pack that are not wolves.” “Well since Mary and Lexy aren’t wolves, they also want to petition to be a member of the Ward Clan, too. They grew up with Samson and his family and already consider them as family. But they also want to honor Peter and be part of both. I looked it up and it’s never happened where a family is part of two packs, much less a vampire clan. Now that’s the problem.” Damen sat back as he blew out his breath. “I will need to speak with Samson and get his opinion on this. This is very unorthodox, but hey, with everything that has happened this year, nothing surprises me anymore,” Mace said on a sigh. “Do you want me to talk to Samson?” asked Damen. “No. I’ll do it the next time I see them,” Mace replied. “Okay, that’s good. I will accept the other families and get them settled with the pack,” Damen answered. “Now here is the other problem I’m having. We have another person who wants to join our pack. His name is Reece Phillips and he has been out on his own for a long time. When he was seventeen years old, he got into an argument with the Alpha and left the next day. His family chose to stay with the pack these last years after Reece left. However, recently his parents were killed, leaving their daughter, Star Phillips. She is seventeen years old and very shy. Here is the bad part. They came from the Cason Pack.” “Damn! You mean Ralph Cason’s pack,” Mace said shocked. “Yep, the bastard himself,” answered Damen. “I can’t believe Cason let the girl go,” said Mace. “Well he wasn’t until Reece showed up with the law and showed him the last will his parents sent him a week before they were found dead in a car accident. He told Reece that he wouldn’t forget this. Take what you want from that threat,” Damen said.
